Any Volvo Question about HF fuel press gauge

Will this gauge work on the 850's?

Assuming you mean the $20 version, provided it has a threaded end that can screw onto the Schraeder valve on the end of the injection rail it should be ok, and if it has a range covering 3-4 bar, or 40-65 psi you should be good. Any other opinions guys?

Why's that? I have a T5 with the TB under the manifold, and I seem be having fueling issues. If I have to drop the ETM to check fuel pressure, I'm going to push the car off a cliff.

I found this You Tube vid that shows how to use a standard pressure gauge and length of rubber fuel line. Also, answers the question about what to do with the schrader valve—remove it during testing. The demo doesn't mention if fuel gets into the pressure gauge. Guess I'll find out.

Seems pretty simple.

Phew.

I rented a kit from Autozone, and it costs a $160 deposit. I'll get it all back when I return it, and I wanted it this weekend, but I feel like I'd rather pay $20 and get a crappy HF tool that I can keep, even though I'll only use it on occasion.

The O'rielly kit did not work on 2001 V70XC.
There was not enough room to connect on '97 850 -- the bracket is in the way.

I would like to know how your's go?
Will you test the fuel pressure regulator?

I'll post results when I get 'em, probably this weekend.

The car's been behaving strangely lately, and I'm no longer so sure it's fueling-related. We'll see.

No comments on the hack in the You Tube video? That might be the cheapest option and most adaptable since you can bend the hose around obstacles.
