1997 850 Oil slug from dipstick

Greetings, I have a 850 that we have owned since new. It now has 210,000 miles on it. The car rans great and never has given us any issues. I am changing the timing belt this week and checked the engine oil and noticed a thick whiteish gray slug on the dipstick. I change the oil every 5000 miles and use Mobil 1 5-30 for the past 15 years. Is this normal, should I be concerned, I am.... Is this really something to be concerned about?

I would not jump to any conclusions until after you have driven the car for about an hour in order to purge crankcase of any moisture. We had temps drop yesterday with a lot of moisture in the air. Let me know if you need the cam locking tools, cam seal tools or a handmade tool to remove the idler Torex bolt.

I had white gunk on the dipstick at the time the thermostat was bad.

Thanks for the replies, I am good. During the next oil change this week, I plan to take the dipstick tube out and clean it too.
