Hi Guys, Need some advice on how to fix an issue. The passenger power seat is inop. By comparing the car side harness on my 2000 V70 I discovered that one (yellow/white) wire on the 98 car harness side is not supplying power in the 98 V70. When I jump the heavier guage power green wire (part of the car side harness)to the yellow and white wire the seat will operate.
I do not have access to a wiring diagram. The easy fix would be to run a jump wire at the harness conecter under the seat from the heavier guage green wire to the yellow and white wire. This would solve the inop seat problem.
Volvo built this harness with two power wires and I don't want to burn this car up. Could someone tell me where this passenger side yellow and white wire terminates in the dash? I would like to fix it to manufacteruer specs, but if running a jumper is safe I would rather swim in that pond. Thank you!!

I don't think you have a wire gauge problem but rather a fuse problem. The Yellow/White wire is fed from fuse 36. I'm not sure which green wire you tapped but it is obviously fed from somewhere else.
Such as they are you can get the schematics from this link.

Thank you Lee!!! FWIW fuse 36 as all the others including the silver fuses are working. There must be a break in the yellow/white after fuse and before seat connecter. I am going to supply power to the seat from green wire. Green wire is at the connecter and the seat will function.

It’s an M6 thread insert on top of the subframe, slightly to the right of center , I think.
I remember because it wasn’t documented when I dropped the subframe on one car and it hung up the drop. I was working carefully so no damage , no foul,
