1998 V70 AWD Drone at 2300 RPM

Hello friends, long time lurker, first time poster. I recently purchased a 98 V70 AWD with 165K. It is making a strange noise at about 2300 RPM, mostly only heard when warm and traveling over 30 MPH. Right at that RPM, and only at that RPM, there's a harmonic growl/rumble that sounds to me like it's coming from the front of the car. I do not feel it in the steering wheel, and I *might* be able to feel it in the shifter if I hold it tightly, but that might be psychosomatic. This car has the propshaft removed.

This growl/rattle/rumble does not happen in neutral at that RPM, only while moving. I've googled this quite a bit but I haven't seen something that matches quite the symptoms I'm having. Any ideas what might be going on?

Check your motor mounts, particularly the front mount that is under the harmonic balancer on the engine accessories side. The torque arm mount on the top of the engine is another possible culprit.

I am thinking it may be the wheel bearing starting to fail.
