1997 850 wagon Doors don't open from inside

I posted this earlier, it did not appear so doing it again. I'm a new user so forgive me if this shows up twice. I've got several issues.. passenger doors do not open from the inside. I have ordered a small plastic clip (part #3538081) for $12. each, which I have just learned is on backorder. I may have found it for $18. but sure would like to get it for less!
We had the ignition coil replaced recently and since then the key no longer locks or unlocks from the driver side door, only the passenger side. I''m not sure if this is related.
Additionally the fuel door no longer opens so we've been using the 'emergency' wire hook thing each time we get gas, but I'd like to know if there is some repair that could be done so the door will work again.
