IS THIS CORRECT: from the first pic above for a 98 S70 T-5M? On my T5-M is follows: (base on this diagram)
Red hose #20 insert into #1 (hole) and TCV red mark.
Blue hose from TCV blue mark, insert to MAF (Turbo Inlet Tube).
Yellow hose is correct: [ #19 wastegate, insert to TCV yellow mark].

Juan62- the green hose in the first diagram from the parts book is actually the red hose on the hood circuit diagram blown up several places above.
i.e. (per my 96 850 Turbo,)
#17 green is the red hose in the diagram going to TCV top position. The hose has a green stripe on it.
The blue hose #18 is a vent line and attaches to the inlet air line just above the TCV.
Hose #20, the red hose in the parts book is the bypass hose in the diagram. This yellow striped hose goes to the front, into the inlet manifold pointing directly forward, next to a larger rubber hose, both next to the throttle control.

Hy everyone,

Since few time, I use to smell gasoline around my car, especially on the driver side, outside.
My car is a 850 GLT wagon 2.0 20 valves non turbo - 1995.
May someone could help me to find fuel hoses diagram for my engine ?
I may have plugged something wrong, and count on the diagram to follow all hoses and replace the bad ones
Thanks a lot

How much of these vacuum diagrams apply to the 99? We've still got our 99 T5 and I'm doing more stage zero work and replacing all the vac lines.

Edit: My google-fu is strong this morning.

Here's the diagram for the 99+ guys in case a google search led you here.

Question for turbo guru:

I have a 1998 S70 GLT, re diagram for turbo vacuum and cooler hoses: is it the same as the pictures posted by "MadeinJapan" for T5 model.

In other words, T5 vs GLT diagram, are they the same?

Can someone point out what the mini air filter is for. There is a large one on the left side of the screen (I believe for air intake) and there a small one on the bottom right side of the picture. What is the small one for?

thanks.
ghassan.
I believe that is part of the air pollution system. The canister contains activated charcoal that adsorbs fuel vapor from the gas tank when the engine is not running. When the engine is first started air is pulled back through the canister via the vacuum system and the fuel vapor collected is burned in the engine. That filter is to clean the small amount of air that flows into the charcoal canister.

Old, old thread alert. One good thing about it was that one of the vacuum diagrams actually corrseponds to my 1999 T5 - the actual sticker under the hood is an 850 diagram.

Could use some help with anyone with some input. I just did a PCV repair job and need help getting my vac lines back in the correct place. The problem is the diagram on my hood and in this forum do not seem to match reality. Take a look at the pictures below. The diagram where the red star is shows only two line there going into the manifold. One is the fuel return and the other comes off a check valve that goes to the purge valve. But where does the third one go to with the yellow star in the second picture?
