2004 S60r working out the bugs

Hello guys
I'm the proud new owner of a 2004 S60R. The car is a automatic with a 156000 miles on it. I have no maintenance records. Active suspension has changed to regular front struts. I do plan on getting that up and functioning soon.

My current issue is this. After driving a little while if i come to a very sudden stop transmission is very slow downshifting( almost feels like starting out in 5th gear).If you come to a complete stop and wait a second it seams to start out fine.Some time down shifts seam a little harsh. I did change transmission fluid (not a flush) and put in correct fluid. Any other advice before I do a flush.

I did contact local dealer and he ran VIN and said all recalls and updates look like they have been done.(Really don't trust dealer)
