HU850 replacement?
HU850 replacement?
Hi, I currently have a hu850 fitted in my s60 d5 (05 facelift). It's stopped working where it only comes on intermittently which when it does, it only stays on for a few seconds. Whilst off, there is an interference noise with a popping sound. After researching several forums,this appears a common problem with possibly the sound chips need soldering? I've been quoted silly money to fix this. I've not got too much money to throw around so was wondering the following. Would the hu803 which I can get for a fraction of the cost fit? I can love without the steering controls but what about my sat nav in the dash? I have the remote for that. Or if any other volvo radios work? Thanks

No on the 803, just the base 650 will swap in...or buy aftermarket
