2008 s60 2.5t performance question

hi, i have a 2008 s60 2.5t fwd. i recently acquired a 2001 s60 t5. my question is, are there any parts on the t5 that i can put on the newer car to help out performance wise? i am new to volvos but not cars. I have been building offroad race cars for the about 10 years now, usually gm or volkswagon engines. any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. thank you
