1998 V70 2.0 Turbo 225hp GLT Error P0131

Post by ruiraraujo »

Hello to all,

my name is Rui and i'm the owner of a Euro Spec 98 Volvo V70 GLT 2.0 Turbo with 225hp. These days i've got a CEL and error P0131.

Checked the performance of the O2 sensor and i'm receiving very strange data from the sensor. Bliping the throttle i get 0.7 to 0.2v but on idle the voltage drops to 0.02-0.04v. Major vaccum leak?

Thanks in advance!

Even with a lot of air it should read .1volts. Try disconnecting and measure ohms between signal and heater at sensor connector.

P0131 usually means that front o2 sensor needs to be replaced.
