97 Volvo 850 How to clear ECC problem codes

I have fixed my ECC problems with the help received here. The error codes, 211, 321....414, are still there. How can I delete these codes now that my system works properly? Best regards, wlutz.

You must have used a flash code reader to get those codes.

If you have fixed the issues that the codes had indicated, to clear the codes you must read them again. All of the code must be read until they repeat themselves.

Once you have done that, you must hold your momentary flash code switch for 5-7 seconds. The light will come back and stay lit. You must press the switch once while the LED is still lit. It will repeatedly flash for a couple seconds, indicating some or all codes have been cleared.
If you get 1-1-1 when you test, you have fixed your issues.

If you get another code, you will know what you have not yet fixed that issue.

Thanks...will do next. Also, I had no air to the floor only defrost. This should have produced 314/324 codes but didn't...removed the floor/defrost motor and found the plastic shaft split allowing the motor to function and not move the damper. Wound fine copper wire around the split shaft and restored floor/defrost to normal. This is fun! Best regards, wlutz.
