I recently saw a California 1992 240 with 1 owner with 160K miles at a used car dealer. All the dealer did was paint it. The car has all the service records completed at a volvo dealership in San Diego from Day 1. The car needs new tires as the tread is still there but questionable and the radio needs a code to operate. The dealer wants $4k for the car (which includes all fees and taxes on the car).
Is this a good deal for a 1 owner 240 California Car? I offered $3,500 (including tax etc) which he did not accept. I've been seeing a lot of 240s over the past 4 months. anything decent under 2k sells in hours here in Los Angeles. Personally I feel like if I'm gonna spend 4k on a 1992 car it'd have to be pretty awesome (including its tires).
Thanks!
