2010 s80 air conditioning
My air conditioning takes a long time to get cold. Had it recharged but still not getting cold. What do you think is the problem?

That car uses a compressor that is variable displacement. If the evaporator temp probe is faulty it will cause the compressor capacity to not be controlled to full displacement. The electric solenoid on compressor can bind and also prevent full compressor capacity to be reached.
The vehicle needs to be serviced by a dealer or a shop with a capable tool to read all the parameters that deal with that a/c system.
Is the cool down time faster if the car has been driven and is switched off for 30 min instead of having sat for hours so the engine has cooled down?
