2001 V70 Driver door doesn't lock always

Hi Guys

another thing on my V70:
The driver door doesn't lock always when i lock the car with the remote, when i use the key, it works all the time.
When i Press the central lock button on the door while driving all doors lock properly.
I have the feeling the lock fails always when it is warmer outside.

I read a log online and think i need to get a new lock, would you agree or could this be another problem?

If no locks work with the remote...try a new battery

If just the driver door...lubricate or investigate driver door lock

I had similar problem on our 02 V70, I never noticed it since it was passenger side but my Vida told me the car would fail to lock 80% of the time. What I did notice was that the car went into some weird deadlock scenario where it would sense all doors are un-locked, though they were locked, and hitting the button just kept locking. Similar to yours I did notice using a key would always unlock driver door so I could get in but the toggle all doors wouldn't work. I replaced passenger side door lock actuator, not too difficult though there is not much room in-between panels in the door, and problem went away.

Ok, then i'll first replace the actuator and see what happens
