04 S60 stalls, looking for mechanic in Westerly RI

My son's S60 stalls once in a while, highway or town. New car to him since 2 weeks, so may be a previous owner not fixed problem. The car was inspected and proved to be ok and well cared for. One code was in the history : fuel pressure. But no problem at all for the first 1000 miles.

He is en route right now for Westerly in RI for a 3 months summer job. Does anybody know a Volvo repair shop in that area? He cannot do any repair himself.

Check out the Volvo mechanis sub-forum for RI Volvo mechanic recommendations. I think there are some recent ones.

And, have Junior sign up...we will turn him into a mechanic pretty quickly.

If you can make it to Groton, CT Eurocars-Plus is where all of my Volvo's were serviced until we moved to Mass. Mark was always straightfoward, if not the cheapest for an indie. We bought a car from him as well. We were coming in from Wyoming (RI).

There's also a place in East Lyme - European Auto Ltd. Never had service with them (it was the wrong direction from work) but when I dropped by the owner spent some time talking with me about Volvo's and his philosophy. Seemed trustworthy and some folks from work who lived that way used him regularly.
