2005 S80 Radiator fan always runs on high.

About a month ago I noticed that my 2 speed cooling fan is always running. Even when I first start the car. And it's always running on high speed. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

If you have any codes on your car than scan it and see what it has, if not it probably will be the coolant temperature sensor or it will be the fan and the fan module wich are mounted as one piece and are well known for failing.

Start small, refill your ac. Spend $50 for a big can and fill it. That was my issue with my 06.

hey I'm having the same problem with my 05 S80 my AC doesn't work and the radiator fan is always on max like the car is overheating but it's not...did recharging the AC work for you?? just want to know
