Hey everyone, my girlfriend recently was moving the steering wheel and did not put the level completely up and broke it when she got out of the car. I now know how to remove the lever and I have found multiple replacements at the scrap yard but my only issue is not being able to remove the 10mm tension nut. Whenever I try to spin it the bar inside the column spins and I dont have any ideas on how to stop it. Any ideas would be helpful.

It has been several years ago but the lock got loose on one of my 850s and I seen to recall that there was a nut on the opposite side of the locking lever that I was able to tighten to get it to lock again. That nut loosened should allow the locking lever to be removed.
