1999 S80 P0455 code & replaced the Purge Valve

I have a simple question should I clear the code P0455 after the purge valve replacement or the code will clear automatically when the next time the EVAP test diagnostics gets triggered. Will the diagnostic even be triggered with the code still stored.

Please answer anyone. I really need to get this fixed and pass the SMOG to make my tax payment.

If you are sure that the purge valve is causing the P0455 code than replace it as for the codes you can clean them by disconnecting the battery than if everything works good in the 2 or 3 engine start the codes should not appear.
