I need some help with my 2008 S80, 3.2L, 135k. This started late last summer, but now that the ambient temperatures are in the upper 80's (F) and and occasional mid 90's in central California (USA). It's already to hot to not have the A/C. I have verified that the compress cycles on, and that my LP is roughly 45 PSI, but the A/C will not start to produce any cold air until I drive the car for roughly 3 miles. If the car is already warm, it do get a vent output temperature of roughly 50 degrees, but by the time it starts cooling off and I am already half baked from the heat. The only thing I have not checked is the interior cabin filter... but that will be completed tonight.
Any ideas as to anything else I should check or do before taking it to an authorized Volvo mechanic?
Thanks,
GP
