1998 S70 Cooling Fan Blown Fuse

Post by kinghenry_91 »

I am having problems with my cooling fan. I drive a 1998 S70 GLT with 173,000 miles. I have changed the Cooling Fan Relay and also the Cooling Temp sensor. I was able to gain some great lead way today into my fan problem. I found that the cooling fan fuse (60A) in the main fuse box was blown. I changed it and the fan was working fine for about 15-20 mins or so until the new fuse blew out again. I know there is power going to it sense this keeps happening. Is there anyway someone can guide me into seeing why the fuse keeps blowing?

thank you!
