1998 v70 Suggestions For Minor Bumper Repair

Post by MrAl »

Hello there,

The car body isnt too bad, so at some point i'd like to fix this small but noticeable bumper defect. It's a pushed in area that looks like a circular hole about 2 inches in diameter. I included a pic here.

Is there some standard way to repair this without a whole new bumper? And what kind of paint would be used to touch up this and other scratches on the bumpers only?

Thank you.

Note that the defect shown in the picture is an actual crack and the round area is pushed in slightly, so it's just just a scratch, although there are some scratches too. So it would have to be filled in or pulled out and glued or something like that. The scratches would probably look ok if they were just painted over, but that one area should really be repaired first.

I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.
