2001 v40 p0133 mystery

Post by rustyoldman »

the devil's own v40 is at my shop after 2 dealers and another independant.the weird thing is,if i unplug the f oxs the p0133 is still there(along with p0030 from being unplugged),but when i unplug the rear oxs the p0133 goes away.i understand, more or less, what that code means, and this doesn't make sense.

I replaced both oxygen sensors whem i got the p0133 code and it went away.

I've read that different code readers confuse the front and rear oxygen sensor codes.
