The reason asking for quick ideas is I have the VIP plan with deductible per visit so if the dealer cannot find the problem I will be stuck for another $200 if the part fails in the future.
Problem is randomly the radio preset buttons stop functioning. Each one of them. The radio would be on but I cannot change stations. It will work again as soon as I do a power cycle. The frustration I have is it actually did it today the day it went in for something else and they saw it but said there are no codes so they do not know what it is.
Ok so is that diagnosing nowadays they must see a code? Actually seeing the problem isn't good enough to go into further diagnosing?
The keypad itself was replaced for a sticky button so to me I want to think the head unit is flaking out. Anyone have a similar problem and if so what was it?
