Does anyone know of a good remann starter motor out there. Looks like OEM only for $444.00 Nippendenso has control of this 2 yr only produced starter. No parts list and no new other then Volvo only.
The v8 xc is showing signs of slow starts. Battery and Alt. replaced last yr. Starter is the second one. Previous owner replace at 85,000. This replacement has 90,000 on it.

Phone book is your friend. I had to have my V50's rebuilt as the one I ordered was incorrect. Cost to rebuild was $100, and they had it done in one day.
I would call around with part number in hand. Another option is to buy a used one and have that rebuilt.
