2006 xc90 mystery turbo valve(solenoid) issue

Hi all, newbie here. I have a 2006 xc90 2.5T. It was occasionally "stumbling" at idle and after scanning through this forum, I decided to purchase a new turbo valve. The same one that was on mine. Yahoo, the rough idle went away but now it hesitates on acceleration. So…I put the old one back in and no hesitation on acceleration but the rough idle is back. Any ideas? Thanks guys and gals.
