1999 V70T5M56 fuel line release tool , AC tool hack

Post by abscate »

The Bic pen trick works great to disconnect the fuel line on ME7 cars, but I found another way today.

I realized the fuel line connect is released just like my AC lines.

This line has four springs that need to be pushed off a boss on the car side of the fuel line to release it.

My 5/16 AC tool fit neatly into the release end but the other end on the intake manifold was too thick so the tool wouldn't close.

Solution - I drilled out the AC tool to 9/16 and Voila - it popped off the line perfectly
