2002 V70 2.4T 164k preventative maintenance

First of all a big THANK YOU to all the exceptionally helpful members on this forum. With your help I have been able to avoid any trips to the dealer or indy shops.
I purchased this vehicle from the original owner in 2011 with 78K, since then I performed all scheduled maintenance - timing belt, PCV,transflush 3x, suspension work, sent axles out for rebuild.
I just returned from a cross country trip of 6500 miles of event free (car related that is) driving. I love this car even if it actually is my wife's.

At what mileage should I be replacing the voltage regulator to avoid damage to the alternator?
What other maintenance above the owners manual can I be doing to get the most miles-longest life?

I just did my 1999 PCV system at 170k, and it was less than 20% blocked. The late P80 and P2 cars have coolant heated PCV systems which don't clog like the old cars

If you are cross country cruising, consider replacing all rubber hoses.

Two radiator hoses
Reservoir hose
Turbo supply hose
Turbo return hose
Two heater hoses
Reservoir overflow hose
PCV heat hose

Expensive but essential for long term running.

No URO hoses, only Volvo.
