Greetings!
I found a set of tires on Craigslist, and I can't quite figure out if they'll fit my wagon. Here are the specs from the ad:
Wheels model "Mimas" 6.5X16" bolt pattern 5x108. Compatible for S60 and V70 models.
Tires Toyo P205/60R16.
Thanks in advance!

43 mm (1.7 in) is mimas offset
850 is 35mm I think?
My vote is negative

Thanks for your reply, but I'm confused. It seems like the offset on the 850 is 43mm? And another post in this forum also talks about the bore: http://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-850- ... fit-60215/
I'm driving around on a spare right now, so I need to get this figured out.

Just a minor point, but tire size is not right I believe. I think it should be a 205/55/16". I know the height difference will change the accuracy of the speedometer, but I don't recall the calculation to say by how much.

I'm with Neil, that's a pretty big difference (6.2 % oversize diameter/circumference see http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-comparison/). I don't like to go over 5%.
With those tires, when your speedo says 60 mph your actual speed will be almost 64.
I once ran snow tires that size on an 850 sedan, they rubbed in the wheel wells when the steering was maxed out but not at other times.

Youll be fine then. Worse case you go to the Mexi Used Tire Shop and dish out 30 bucks for a smaller tire.
