1998 s70 Tie rod end boot has come loose

Post by JRev »

If the boot has come away from one end (furthest away) but unsure of how long its been loose, can I reseal the boot as it isn't split, its simply come loose as the people who worked on the car before used cable ties which have snapped.

Do I need to clean/inspect or grease inside the boot?

Add a little grease (syringe), then use telephone wire to go around the circumference of the boot.
