2000 V70, non turbo, 138.000.00 miles.
Upon accelerating from a stop, car shudders and feels like I am going over a washboard. (feels a little like front tires are spinning, but they are not) . After a few seconds car runs okay until I increase speed and than car shudders and I get the washboard effect again.
Last week check engine light came on, scanner showed code: P0303, cylinder 3 misfiring. But no codes for anything to do with transmission.
I don’t know if this is a tranny, or an ignition problem.
Help please!

Sounds like the car has a misfire. When was the last time the plugs were replaced?
