1995 854T Is this supposed to have an EGR?

I'm in the midst of a valve seal replacement and was going to do the PCV hoses too.
My car has an EGR valve. I wasn't expecting that on a turbo.
I thought only NA cars had an EGR.

Why am I thinking that turbo cars did not have an EGR?

I know the turbo cars definitely were not exempt from EGR because my T-5R has a recurring EGR code caused by the PO removing the entire system at some point in the past.

I was just surprised to see it. It's buried so far below that in 3 years, I never even realized it was there.
It's not like I had any choice.
Hope nothing breaks as I remove the tube so I can get the intake manifold off.
Ugh. Another setback.

My '95 turbo has EGR as well. Doesn't really bother me. It was clogged about 75% when I took it apart to clean it.

Polska, you may want to drop in a '96 ECU to cure that.

Almost all 95's came with EGR (http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/199 ... n1995.html).

This! On my T5R I removed it and put in an ECU that doesn't look for it.
