I have the p0444 code and have replaced the evap valve but after clearing the CEL it comes back on after 2 or 3 seconds with the same code. The generic obd reader I have says it is an open circuit and after looking on the forums and reading one about repairing the valve the poster mentioned the valve should always have 12v to the plug. I tested that and it read less than 1v. Where do I look now? Any suggestions would be great I have till the end of the month to get it to pass emissions.
