1995 850 need axles

Anyone use AAP's or AutoZone axles? I need at least the drivers side. Mine has wear and play while moving it. I know Raxles is good but $$. I have heard horror stories of the cheaper ones leaking around the seal.

The Durlast rebuilt ones tend to get good reviews and around $60, plus I can purchase a 22% off gift card online making them around $50/each...

raxles is out of them. Only ones holding together have been the new not rebuilt, "import direct" brand at O'Rielly's.

About 70 bucks. No problems with any customers cars yet but I am watching very closely as we only moved to these 8 months ago.

I like autozone life time warranty. When the boot torn down the road, just replace it.

Check CARQUEST. The core charge was only $5 and cost was ~$60. I have installed one axle from them (passenger side) and so far it is okay. I did have to call the store to check availability.

Thanks, there is a CarQuest local to me. IIRC they had a couple different models, do you know the one that worked well for you?

I believe it was a USA brand. I still have the box and will check. With that small of a core charge, I saved the old axle and may have Raxles redo it someday if needed.

3.5 years on an EMPI and no issues.

Warranty does not include labor/time, and the inconvenience of being without the car. Only you know what that is worth if you have to replace it again.
