So,we bought an 06 c70.after 2 months, one of the top's hydrolic cylinders blew out. Now the dealer is having trouble finding a new one. Any thoughts?

I have thoughts. They're not always useful, but that's a separate issue, I guess. :D Anyway, check these guys out, maybe?

Wow! That's why
I love this site. Everyone is so helpful. Thanks. I'll look into this. I would rather have a new part but this is a great option.

OK, so the dealer found the cylinder and today a service writer called me at work and told me that I now need a hinge for the roof, hydraulic hoses that were supposedly blown and none of this will be covered by the extended warranty. 2200.00 bucks and it sounds like a hustle. All these parts seemed ok before I left the car last week. The top went up and down just fine. Now the service guy says it struggles to work. Am i overreacting?

This may be a dead lead but Rayco (they are each independently owned franchises).
Theses one in East Brunswick. Also http://www.allentownrayco.com/
Rayco does convertible tops. Maybe they can also do the mechanic's on a convertible top. Convertibles tend to scare the indy's but maybe a Rayco can handle it. I have not had a Volvo top done (yet). My understanding is that the convertible top software locks you into the dealer. I would see what Rayco has to say. Like they say... "can't huert". If you do please let us know for future reference too.
