02 C70 New top defroster wiring issue

I recently took delivery of a new top from Autoberry for my 02 C70, the rear window was separating from top. I went with one that is supposed to be "German cloth" and seems to be the same as the original but a little thinner. The top is supposed to have the lifetime window seal on it.

I started to put the top on and went to connect the defroster wiring and noticed that the wiring is inside the zipper, so it crosses the zipper and makes zipping the top to the headliner impossible. I called Autoberry and they told me that they have never had an issue with their tops, they did ask me to send pictures to them so they can take it up with the manufacturer.

Am I missing something?

Can someone upload pictures of the original wiring in relation to the zipper?
