Hello all

In the last couple of weeks my car has had an alternator failure and ETM failure. I replaced the alternator with a rebuilt Bosch unit from Eeuroparts. I replaced the ETM with a rebuilt one from XeMODeX. The car runs sooooo much better now. I realize the ETM has been acting up for a while now. I doubt I would have known what was wrong or how to fix these issues without the wealth of information here, especially the ETM problem.

I just wanted to say thanks to all who give such good feedback here. I spent $700 but probably saved close to twice that versus going the dealer route. Plus the ETM has a lifetime warrantee.
