Mechanic says leak in Exhaust - can Loose Dipstick cause it?

Post by plumsmooth »

I have been riding with no dipstick because of PCV system which by the way I just ordered and am planing on completing this month. But I am trying to get inspected and was wondering if the dipstick pulled out would cause the loss of pressure that would lead to the failed exhaust part of the inspection. He said you put your hand over it and it should release with a Wop indicating no leaks?

He said mine just gurgles when he puts hand over it and I thought maybe no dipstick could have that effect.
