1998 S70 turbo GLT PCV kit done, idle problem

With great help from this site, I finally got all the tubes connected but not sure if maybe I got one or more wrong, or if it's something else.
The engine started up immediately but will run only if I press the accelerator for higher rpm than idle. When I back off the accelerator to lower the rpm the engine shuts off before I come all the way off the accelerator. So it can't be driven yet.
I'm attaching a photo that may well be the problem. It's an electrical connector for which I could not find a partner. I'm not sure if it already was unattached when I got the car or if I disconnected it and just can't find it's mate. It's orange and comes in a cluster with some others and is very near the front of the battery.

Is there another connector on the other side about the same place? That could be for headlight wipers, you may or may not have, but still in wire harness.
Check all hoses, guess is you might have vac leak. Hoses are old and don't like to be touched without problems.
Might try unhooking MAF and see if it stays running.

Never mind. Found MAF sensor. If I disconnect MAF and it runs the same, what is the remedy?

It could indicate the MAF is going/gone bad. Mine would work/not work until I replaced it. Do you have a CEL on, if so, what are the codes. You can run without the MAF for a period of time. I ran about 500 miles before I found one that worked. Don't buy cheap.
I'll look for the plug you are asking about when I get home and see what I find.

OK, let's back up a minute. Did the car run good before the PCV repair?

If that's on the drivers side of the engine bay like I think it is. Is it the idle air valve connection?

That's surely part of the lighting wiring - the one on the passenger side can be hard to find, but I bet you it's there - like obayha said, it's for wipers or extra lights.

Check your hoses, and check your intake manifold gasket! See if you haven't got something pinched between the manifold and the block.

The only orange three prong connector it that area is for the light wipers, as the wipers on my '98 have the matching connector. They would be tucked away on other side and hard to find. Mine didn't look orange until a little scrubbing.
Forget the plug and check and answer the other questions asked and see if we,us,them can get you back on the road.
