2001 v70xc no reverse lights

I have been all over the web and can't find definitive info on the reverse switch for the 2001 v70xc. It seems that there is a lot of info for 2000 and earlier. Is the reverse switch part of the PNP? or is it separate? Anyone know?

Does no one know about this? I have found bunch of info that conflicts with itself and without taking the car apart, I haven't been able to find it myself.
