Volvo Noob Question...2001 Chassis Range?

Hi, I just picked up a 2001 V70 T5.

I am doing some basic maintenance and want to get fuel and oil filters ordered.

I've searched the forums and I can't find this info.....

I keep running into this:
2001 V70 Factory Code 1 chassis #83268 and higher
2001 V70 Factory Code 2 chassis #77342 and higher

How do I know what chassis number I have?

As best I can tell....Is the chassis # the last 6 numbers of the VIN?

And the factory code is the number immediately preceding the chassis#?

Thanks in advance...just want to get this clear before I order the wrong parts!
