1997 V70 Changed Purge Valve, now have misfire codes

I have a 1998 V70 that has a PO455 code I am trying to chase down. Considering the purge valve is a common culprit, my 1999 C70 has the same valve, so I switched them out to see if that would address the issue. Drove about 10 mi or so, no light. Did a OBDII read and got four codes, PO300, on up to PO 500- misfire codes. What the heck? The car is running fine, no misfire at all. Anyone have any suggestions?

clear the codes and see if they come back
'00 S70, '04 S60 and the never ending quest for Stage Zero
