2006 v50 weak low beam

Post by alexiei »

Hi all!

I've a problem with my v50: my halogen low beam are very poor! It's dangerous drive in night!

Here what I tried:

1)Cleaned projector lens
2)Installed Osram Nigh Breaker Unlimited
3)Fixed alignment of light with the 2 screws in the headlight

None of these solved my problem.

I read that the problem is caused by the bad projector and I want to replace it with an higher performance.
But I have halogen bulbs, not Xenon.

Where can I buy a new halogen projector? Do you have any tips for help me?

(I can't install xenon aftermarket because in my country (italy) is illegal and I don't want problem.

Thank you very much

Alessandro

I found the same. Low beam where absolutely rubbish. I got a 55w h7 hid kit of eBay. As the v50 lights are easily removable it took less than 15 mins to fit the whole kit.
A must! !!!!!!
