On a 2002 volvo s40, are the wiper arms the same? the numbers on a volvo site are different, but the arms seem to be the same. anyboby knows?

I know the ones on my '01 are not. I'd say probably not on an '02 either.

The wiper arms are different.

Subject to whether the vehicle is a left or right hand drive model, the shaft of the driver side wiper has a kink downwards to prevent the wiper arms arc from allowing the blade to hit the 'A' pillar edge of the windscreen when they are operating.
The passenger side shaft is straight and covers a wider overall arc.
