1999 V70XC PCV flow diagram inside the engine

Does anyone know when I can find information on how PCV flows are done inside the engine?
I was told there is a clog or block inside the engine that is flowing through the Oil trap.

I am trying to fix the clog myself.
I was also told that may be the cause of the oil leak.

I don't know if Vadis had this information. I just can't figure out how VADIS efficiently. part number or text search virtually have no use.

Where the oil trap connects to the engine block, there are two ports in the block. It's the lower one that gets clogged all the time, it drains through the block and into the oil pan. You need to remove the intake manifold, remove the oil trap, and clean those ports out thoroughly. There are no shortcuts, it is basically a full on PCV service.

I think VADIS is 'water under the bridge'. Many of the PNs in it are obsolete, and VADIS is no longer supported/updated.
VIDA is the 'stuff'

None of the 2 hole are blocked. oil leaked through the bottom hole before the 2nd PCV job a few weeks ago. Oil trap was dry without any oil inside either.

Is it possible to have clog somewhere in between?

For the last 2 PCV jobs that I did, I made sure those were not blocked.

Sure, other ports or hoses can be blocked, those are just more common. I like to blow through the bottom port to make sure it is open, it should be easy to make bubbles in the sump.

What about the PTC, is that known to be well cleaned?

I am looking back at your original post, it says clog inside the engine, is that exactly what the shop told you? That's odd.

Well, talked to the mechanic again.
He says I have clog on oil return line.
Not sure how to check, but was told to remove the oil trap and check the inside of the bottom hole.
I was also told it may be the cause of oil leak on rear camshaft seal (exhaust side).

where does that bottom hole supposed to go through?

I've been searching for oil flow, PCV flow, oil pan, etc.
So far, I have no clue. I am thinking about the oil pan removal and see if that small square hole is blocked. (attached picture from swedespeed)

Does anyone know where I can find a picture of the engine without the oil pan?
I am trying to find out where that small hole is located on the block side.

If I pour seafoam into the oiltrap and, do you think it will remove clog or partial clog?

Your mechanic is talking about the small hole in the block that I showed in both pictures up there, the lower hole on the oil trap. It drains through the block and in to the square hole in the oil pan. It's what I was talking about, if you can easily blow bubbles into the pan then the passage is open. Seafoam in the trap is not going to do it alone, you have to ream it out with heavy wire or similar while the trap is off.

There was a thread describing clearing the hole using clear plastic tubing and ramming it into the gunk, packing it and removing it via the tube. I think it was Mike's work, user precopster.

Often it is not really gunk, it is usually hardened into a solid and you have to chip away at it. In that case I don't think a flexible plastic tube will do it but give it a shot.
