1998 V70 / S70 door swap

Hello I finally found a parts car with a clean inner panel and same color scheme as my car and I'm just going to take the door as a whole.

I asked earlier in the month if swapping a same year drivers front door from an S70 door onto a same year V70 would be an issue and the response was that it would fit with no problem. I've watched several videos (by Robert Spinner and others on YouTube) on door removal so I don't think I'll have any issues there.

The one thing I can't find a video on is removing the door handle and lock cylinder to put my lock cylinder in the new door. any suggestions or links to this? Anything I should keep in mind when doing the swap? Thanks

I had the door handle off today on the 98 V70 replacing a failing lock actuator. While reinstalling the door handle shaft into the lock actuator remove a rubber plug above the two screws holding the lock actuator. The hole the plug covers gives you access to guide the lock pin into the actuator with a blunt tool.

THANKS guys that info was very helpful, looks like it wont be too bad.

I watched some videos online about the actual removal of the door, and I just want to make sure I bring everything with me and can get this door off and go.

exactly what tools are needed to remove the door, a t40, a t10 and a reverse t40 for the door pins? is that it? thanks. again this is a 1998 s70 driver door
