2000 S80 Sunroof won't close all the way

It will open all the way but will only close halfway and then a few inches more when the button is pushed up (normally to open to ventilation position). I have tried disconnecting battery and locking/unlocking door manually 3x and nothing will get the sunroof to close any further. It stops in the same place every time. It appears Siren Module was already disconnected by previous owner as their is no alarm when I use key FOB to lock doors. Can someone tell me how to remove the overhead light assembly to possibly close it manually? I took the cover off but I don't see how to remove the inner plastic cover (no screws).

I am currently having the same issue with mine did you ever figure out how to close the sunroof or what the issue was?

Post some pictures of the suspect parts. If I recall there is a brass allen key shaped hole that should be easy to see. Turn this for manual operation.
