1998 v70r - exhaust in rear sits a bit low

Post by Bren »

It's a solid 2.5 inches below the exhaust cut outs in the bumper...

Is this just a function of my exhaust hangers in the back being old? Should i try new rubber hangers and see if that helps raise it up a bit?

Is it even able to move around that much? is there enough flex in the system that I could do that?

I would check the rubber donuts that holds up the rear exhaust. There is some play left/right and up/down. Comes in handy when changing the bumper mounts. Also inspect the exhaust hanger in the middle of car for wear.
