Yesterday I found a 98 at the pick 'n pull with some brake parts I might want for my 96 or 93 850s. Will they fit my 850's?
For the 96, are 98 headlights the same? Front seats? Fuel pump?
Interior door part, such as window runners?
Also, are all 15" steel wheels the same width on all 850's and 98's? Would it matter if there's a slight width difference?
96 850 Compatibility of parts 850's to 98's?

For stuff like that, I use FCPs site to see what parts fit what, you can look up a part and check the fitment and it will tell you all the cars it fits.
V/S series lights don't go backwards, they mount completely different, pretty much all the brake parts do, I found a 850 at the PnP that had brand new brakes, rotors, calipers etc that I moved over to my 98 V70.

Wheels all have the same offset and lug pattern. There is a difference for early 850 ('91 to '93) with the 4 lug pattern which for obvious reasons makes it impossible to install the later 5 lug wheels.

+1 to above, however, take the whole hub assembly and rear hub assemblies and upgrade from 4 to 5 lugs for greater compatibility.

The body is the same from the drivers door back. '98 was the first year of the S/V designation.tryingbe wrote:I thought there is no 850 in 1998...
