V70 Headliner Sagging

Hi,
I have a 2000 V70. My daughter was putting her saxophone case in the back seat and scraped the headliner with the case. Now there's an area about 8" in diameter that is sagging. Does anyone have any advice on what to do to keep it from getting worse and to fix that area? If I need a replacement, any suggestions where to try to get it for a decent price?

They pretty much are all starting to come loose at this age, nothing really that's going to be a permanent fix unless you completely redo it. I've heard some use those repair tacks but it's just going to start coming down in other areas as well.

Local upholstery shop can do it or you could tackle it yourself, I just did it on my wagon and the hardest part is just getting the headliner in and out.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'm sorry I didn't see your post. I was having connectivity issues and couldn't get the search to work.

This is more work than I can probably put into it right now, so I'll try the clips until it gets worse. No chance a spray adhesive could get that one area to stick? Thanks again.

mine started similar to yours. in a small area in back. Too keep from spreading I am using upholstery pins. Similar to the link and just screw them in. $5 and 5 minutes later back in business. So far so good.

The problem with the sprays is that it soaks into the fabric and looks terrible, the other problem is that the foam is 15 years old and quite crumbly, so usually the foam just crumbles back off and it falls down again. That's why the tacks are usually the preferred method.
