2004 S60 Radio Controls Very Sensitive

2004 S60, ~105,000 miles, have owned it for about a month. The radio controls, specifically volume, source, and "favorite selector" seem to have a mind of their own. The slightest touch will make the volume shoot up or go to mute, for example. Interestingly, the steering wheel controls work fine.

Looked through the forum with no luck. Any ideas what could be causing this/potential fixes?

Do something very simple as a free and easy effort to see if it fixes it: With key off roll those knobs furiously both directions.
